General Drawing and Painting

This a structured class suitable for all levels, whether you are a beginner seeking an introduction to drawing and painting or have more experience and are looking to enhance your core skills.

The course will cover a range of activities from quick sketches through to colour mixing and more sustained paintings. A wide range of materials will be explored including charcoal, ink, pastels and paint. The emphasis will be placed upon developing sound observational skills alongside knowledge of colour, form, space, light and composition while finding a balance between rigour and playfulness.
